Description

Music inspired by the elements of spring including works by Delius, Debussy and Dvorak. Delius, Debussy, and Dvorak – each composer on this concert shares his musical effort, as inspired by spring. Birds singing, idyllic melodies based on poetry, even leaves rustling in a gentle spring breeze, all heard throughout these beautiful works. The concert is one-hour long without intermission. The program includes: Delius: On Hearing the First Cuckoo in SpringDebussy: Petite SuiteDvorak: Symphony No.8COVID Protocol - Each attendee is required to wear a mask covering nose and mouth throughout the concert. The Loudoun Symphony Orchestra performs 6-8 concerts each season .
