Who can take ASIST? Anyone aged 16 or older wanting to make their community safer from suicide. Join us for this 2-day skills training! Lunch and snacks will be provided. Trainers include: Healther Pelser, MSW; Kelly Bowman, BA; Erik Segall, M.A.E.C. About ASIST: Trusted by professionals, yet learnable by anyone, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is evidence-based and the only workshop of its kind. Updated continually to reflect new knowledge, ASIST has been empowering people to provide skills, life-saving intervention for over 35 years. Why should I take ASIST? ASIST trainers make their communities safer from suicide by providing life-saving interventions. What will I learn? How to prevent suicide by recognizing the signs.
