Arrangements done by volunteers following a free floral class. Arrangements are gifted to sick and shut-in. Please bring a sack lunch. Love Petals is on a mission to save flowers from being thrown away or destroyed coming directly from wholesalers. Including the repurpose of wedding and event flowers, bringing Love Petals to those most in need in our communities. Founder of Love Petals, (Ivory Morgan-Burton) is working to set a standard of eco-friendly sustainability and with a team of volunteers to style donated flowers into bedside arrangements. Which are delivered to locations include infusion centers, nursing homes, cancer treatment facilities, homeless shelters, and more. The purpose is to share the love and stop the waste. Donated flowers are also used to host ‘floral arranging workshops’ at no cost for those that volunteer to offer training to obtain work in floral shops or enhance their skill.
