A day to get together on Long Island and shop Black Owned Businesses and organizations from across the Tri-state area. Ujamaa Fest is an effort to rebuild the economic backbone of the black community on Long Island. Ujamaa Fest grows annually last time we had Ujamaa fest with over 500 attendees and 30+ vendors featuring items for all ages and activities for the entire family. This year we will have Live Entertainment from Jammersteel, a family of steel pan musicians and Prest4Time, a classic soul, R&B, smooth jazz cover group with a taste of soca and calypso. What to Expect: A broad display of Pan-Africanism through Children Activities, Family Activities, Live Performances, & Special Guests. Vendor and Sponsor opportunities still available. For more information please email us at [email protected] This Is Going To Be LARGE!!!! Ujamaa (oo-JAH-mah) is the Kwanzaa principle of Cooperative Economics. We will have a chance to circulate our dollars in our community. A SPRING SHOPPING OPPORTUNITY with familiar vendors you already know, and vendors you will be glad to meet. Come Out, Bring Your Friends and Family and Spread the Word! Saturday, September 25, 2021
