CONTRACT LAND SURVEY FIELD CREW

DVJ Civil Engineering and Land Surveying, LLC is currently seeking a Contract Land Survey Field Crew and also a Full Time in house Field Crew to perform Boundary Surveys, Form Surveys, Acreage, Topographic Surveys and Elevation Certificates for clients throughout the local area. Must have their own form of transportation and own equipment and also must have experience with GPS, Total Stations and Data Collectors along with prior field work for land surveying/boundary location. Key Skills: • Complete land survey as prescribed by a Professional Licensed Surveyor • The ability to understand and interpret data • Client management/customer service skills • Organization and time management skills • Basic "office suite" computer skills • Able to operate a motor vehicle with a valid license and clean Motor Vehicle Record • Safety conscious • Experience with GPS, total station and data collector • Prior field work for land surveying • Ability to efficiently provide clear and complete, legible and detailed sketch/field notes Physical Requirements: • Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural and urban surroundings • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. • Regularly walk, stand, crouch or stoop, frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects • Walk over rough, uneven, or slippery surfaces • Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements • Ability to travel up and down ladders
