Coffee Tech Central will be hosting a rare opportunity to spend a full day with two of the most seasoned coffee professionals in the region! Coffee Tech Central & Zabuni Specialty Coffee will be hosting a rare opportunity to spend a full day with two of the most seasoned coffee professionals in the region to help guide your barista skill-building journey! We will start with espresso & milk fundamentals and end with a deeper dive into some of the more complex aspects of running an espresso bar. Perhaps we'll do some latte art while we're at it. Instructor Tamara Vigil: Tamara has been training baristas for well over a decade. She has competed in multiple barista competitions, placing at the national level, while further gaining behind the bar experiences at multiple locations throughout Nebraska, in addition to higher-paced cafe environments in New York City. Instructor Jon Ferguson: Jon began his coffee career as a barista at Zoka Coffee Roasting Company in Seattle. He returned to Nebraska and founded Cultiva Coffee Roasting Company where he lead a team of baristas for five years that were dedicated to elevating the craft and service of coffee. He has competed and judged in multiple barista competitions and certified training programs.
