Did this happen to you ? Did uncle Ed touch you in ways that made you uncomfortable? Did the local bully that lived just up the street say to you everyone is doing it? I am referring to abuse of a child and now as the adult what happened to that experience? Were we frightened or merely silent. I was silent.. It was my mother.. Have you wanted to just blurt it all out? I did and at times wondering if a scream could be heard amidst the silence? Share it and share it with all the words you know.. Sharing is healing.. Emailing to someone is safe. My life experience made me something else untoward and with issues that affect to this day. Abuse of a child leaves scars and the scars are invisible to one outside.
