Would like a real bass player

Looking for a GOOD bass player who likes MUSIC... GREAT MUSIC! In other words not just a one dimensional 'dude'! Not looking for just anybody that 'owns' a bass. We want someone who likes "COVERS" of the all time greatest hits which includes rock, blues, easy listening, pop and jazz. A 'versatile virtuoso' with bass guitar and/or upright bass. (Be able to appreciate and LEARN songs from all eras and genres!) Song list includes artists like; Cat Stevens, Bobby Vinton, Neil Diamond, Sinatra, Eric Clapton and many, many more. We're not into the mentality of those 'get paid 'n get laid' people who are considered "jobbers"! We are older seasoned professionals who will be doing SHOWS - not 'gigs'. Although we are older we are not 'age conscience where you have to be 'our age'... any age over 21 with the "experience" to know, or the willingness to learn the songs we play. Here's an example of what we are looking for; the RIGHT BASS LINES to 'Let Your Love Flow' and 'New Kid In Town' and not just simple follow notes that tells what chord is being played! Harmonies would be a plus. Do know at least THESE TWO SONGS and COPY the BASS LINE! Meet in Joliet... and if you're not willing to train or WORK HARD... no need to reply. It's hard to soar like Eagles when all you get are turkeys!
