The Guilford County System of Care Collaborative COVID0-19 Recognition Event COME ONE, COME ALL! Join us for a day of celebrating! The Guilford County System of Care Collaborative is hosting a Recognition Event for the community! We will have many different resources present for the community! Mayor Nancy Vaughn will be in attendance!County Commissioner Carolyn Coleman will be in attendance!COME ENJOY FOOD TRUCKS!COVID VACCINE MOBILE UNIT WILL BE PRESENT!GOOD MUSIC!INFORMATION ON THE NEW MEDICAID PLANS!SO MUCH MORE!!! The Guilford County System of Care Collaborative will hold a community event recognizing individuals in Guilford County that have gone out of their way to make a difference for children, youth and families during the pandemic. “Spirit of Resilience: Recognizing the Champions of COVID” will identify and honor community-minded residents that are educators, first responders, youth leaders, mental health providers, or faith leaders that demonstrated empathy by providing vital services to vulnerable individuals and families during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Guilford County System of Care Collaborative and its partners, child-serving organizations and mental health providers, support the efforts of individuals that help to remove trauma and build resiliency. “Spirit of Resilience: Recognizing the Champions of COVID” will emphasize the value of social support and will highlight how our community has gained strength through the efforts of caring individuals in spite of the challenges faced during the last year. Your presence and involvement will help make this family-inspired event a true celebration for our local champions of COVID.
