Join us for a special advanced screening of PBS KIDS’ newest program, Alma's Way! Join us at the Iowa PBS Maytag Auditorium on Saturday, October 2 at 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. for a special advanced screening of PBS KIDS’ newest program, Alma's Way! Created by actor and writer Sonia Manzano known to generations of children as Maria from Sesame Street, the series follows 6-year-old Alma Rivera, a proud Puerto Rican girl who lives in the Bronx with her parents and younger brother. In each episode, Alma helps children find the power to express what they think and feel, and to recognize the unique perspectives of others. Both events will include grab-and-go activities for kids of all ages.
