Reliable, hardworking employees needed to fill Foreman and Laborer positions. Laborers will ride in a company vehicle to various areas within the city of Bakersfield to remove litter, debris and bulky waste items for disposal at the local refuse facilities. Foreman’s responsibilities will include the above as well as driving a company truck, managing 4 to 5 crew members, recording and tracking all items collected and providing before and after pictures of each job site. All applicants should be in good physical condition and be capable of walking several miles a day and lifting bulky, heavy items. They also must have a valid social security card and ID. Foreman applicants must also have a reasonably clean driving record and basic skills with a smart phone, including how to take and send pictures, texting and email. Work hours are Monday through Friday, early mornings to mid-afternoons, 8 hours a day. Starting pay will be discussed at the interview, but is highly competitive, with a raise after a 60 day probationary period. There is some vacation and sick pay as well.
