Run, Walk, Bike, Stroll 2.2 miles in support of the prevention and awareness of Veteran suicides'. We need your help in saving a life. I*AM*VETS is hosting the first Veteran Suicide Awareness Run in Jacksonville, North Carolina. We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us in bringing this event to Jacksonville, North Carolina, home of the largest military base on the east coast. This is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your support for our Veterans! Organizations that aid in suicide prevention are provided a sponsor space free at this event. This year will be the first Veteran SPAR in Jacksonville and with support from organizations and local companies this event can bring attention to the Veterans we lose each day to suicide. Proceeds are donated to organizations to help prevent Veteran Suicide. I*AM*VETS is dedicated to helping our Veterans. In the effort to help prevent Veteran suicide counseling is now available each Wednesday from 10:00 am - 4:00pm in the 825 Gum Branch Rd suite 104 Jacksonvile, NC office. Counseling services are provided by Almarch Counseling ( a Navy Veteran). No referral is required and there is no co-pay for services. Insurance is filed to cover expenses.
