Click here: A Typical Workday May Include: ▸ Working as a team to process corn, our raw material, into sweeteners, feed products, ethanol and operate mobile equipment to aid in this process ▸ Sampling products to ensure quality & test using lab equipment ▸ Performing light maintenance in or around the facility, troubleshooting equipment as needed ▸ Monitoring tank levels, product temperature and pressures including observing readings on computers and field instruments, documenting key readings and information, and making appropriate adjustments both manually and/or by computer ▸ Utilizing computer systems to monitor & operate industrial equipment, such as pumps, valves, evaporators, drum filters, load out equipment, etc. ▸ Coordinating and complete work permits ▸ Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations ▸ Assisting in maintaining a safe and clean work environment ▸ Other duties as assigned What You Will Need: ▸ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. ▸ Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility. ▸ Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts, with advance notice. ▸ High School diploma or Equivalent. ▸ Must be able to read/write English. ▸ Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces. ▸ Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold. ▸ Ability to work in elevated areas. ▸ Basic computer skills.
