A fun Saturday STEM Fair, featuring booths from California Life Sciences, Chabot Space & Science Center, Lawrence Hall of Science and more! Hi Everyone, Kits Cubed is so excited to host our first annual STEM Fair (presented by California Life Sciences) on September 4th, 2021. Held at Oakland Technical High School, the fair will feature a wide range of STEM booths to introduce Oakland youth to the wonders of science. STEM booths will be a mix of interactive stations, where students can perform experiments in real time, as well as demonstration booths. We are partnering with California Life Sciences, Chabot Space and Science Center, The Hidden Genius Project, The Lawrence Hall of Science and more to ensure an amazing STEM filled day! Most importantly, this event will kick-off the Kits Cubed 10k Summer Giveaway. Over the next few months, Kits Cubed will be donating 10,000 of our self-designed science kits to OUSD Elementary students to help inspire a passion for science. At this event, we will be giving away 1000 kits to OUSD Elementary Students. For a child to be eligible they must be a student of OUSD. Please let us know at the event if you would like a kit! Tickets are available in one-hour increments to help with crowd control, we ask that you sign up for a time slot that works best for you.
