Join us as we beautify our community and clean up a creek that drains right into the beloved Chattahoochee River! Grab your best creek walking shoes and get ready, because on Saturday, September 11th we are cleaning up our creek! All are welcome to attend this event, so please encourage any and everyone to come pick up litter and learn more about healthy waterways. Participants will meet at 100 Chattahoochee Circle, Roswell, GA at 10am to sign our participation waiver and for a quick talk on areas to target for the cleanup, a safety briefing, and a little information about our watershed. Refreshments and 2021 Rivers Alive t-shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis after the cleanup is complete. Educational tables with free materials will be set up as well, so grab some trash, then grab some goodies before you go. Please RSVP on this eventbrite page ASAP. Some suggestions would be to stay within family groups, maintain social distancing, and wear masks.
