I have a wonderful Black Capped Conure, who I have had since she was weaned, that I need to be rehomed for a fee of $600 obo. I love her dearly but my life has changed and I am looking to move to the east coast for school. She needs more attention and love than I can give her. She loves to snuggle and is on a steady diet of Zupreem pellets, supplemented with fresh foods and seeds. I have papers on her with her hatch date. She turned 3 years old on June 3rd. I would provide a $300 cage as well as a smaller cage that I use for her sleep cage at night, all of her toys, and all perches, including a large standing wooden perch that was over $300 when new. I have two large cages and one small, and if you want you could take them all. I am ONLY considering re-homing to a loving household, with someone who has experience with birds and works from home or can dedicate enough attention to her as she needs. She is very loving and deserves the best. She is fairly quiet but has her moments, like when a chip bag is opened. She needs a lot of attention, and I just can’t give that to her at this time. She has been ripping her feathers out because she is feeling neglected and deserves better. Feel free to contact me for more information, but know that I will not re-home her to the wrong family or to anyone that smokes inside their house. I will only consider pet parents that have owned a Conure or larger parrot before. She loves to perch on my shoulder and play with my hair. Her name is Apex but I call her Pexy.
