GREENDALE, WI — The annual GTO Club All Pontiac Car Show will return for its 40th anniversary event in downtown Greendale on Saturday.
The event brings historic Pontiac cars and GTO's. Funds raised from the event will in part go to the Greendale American Legion. A pancake breakfast is being offered to kick off the show. Music, cars and raffles will follow throughout the day, according to the events poster.
"The location is second to none. It's a beautiful downtown in a historic village," Mike French, organizer of the car show, told Patch. "Car show's are phenomenal there [in Greendale]."
The event will run 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. in downtown Greendale. The pancake breakfast will cost $8 and includes pancakes, eggs and sausage, French said.
Pontiacs of all types will take over downtown. Nearby downtown streets and parking lots will be filled up with the cars. The show is being held by the GTO Club of Milwaukee, French said.
This year is the 40th anniversary of the club.
"It's a special year for us, being a club that long," French said.
Music will be provided by local band Doghouse Charlie from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., according to French. A food tent and craft fair will take place at the car show. Numerous basket raffle and 50/50 raffle items will be a part of the event as well, according to its poster.
