Hamden Police Arrest Driver Of Stolen Car On Larceny, Gun Charges

NEW HAVEN, CT — Hamden Police say they arrested two people Sunday night after stopping a stolen car and finding an unregistered gun inside. A Hamden police officer stopped the car in New Haven on Sunday night. Police say the car had been stolen in Middlebury on July 15. There was also a loaded handgun in the car. The driver, 27-year-old Jaquia Henderson of New Haven, was arrested on charges of larceny and three firearm charges, including carrying a pistol without a permit. Hamden Police say the passenger, 31-year-old Robert George, had arrest warrants out of Bridgeport and was arrested by Bridgeport police.
