'Friday Night At The Farm' Benefits Special Equestrian Programs

CATONSVILLE, MD — The Maryland Council for Special Equestrians will be hosting a fundraising event called Friday Night at the Farm. Live music along with wine and craft beer will be sold by Boordy Vineyards, Twin Valley Distillery and Checkerspot Brewing Company. Live music will be provided by Mike Major. The Sip, Sip, Hooray event will be this Friday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Patapsco Horse Center, 2501 Frederick Road, Catonsville. All proceeds benefit the Maryland Council for Special Equestrians, a non-profit organization offering equine facilitated therapies to individuals with disabilities. MCSE offers weekly 30-minute sessions in hippotherapy, a program that uses horses as an integral part of the rehabilitation process, working with people of all ages with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, multiple sclerosis, hypotonia and balance disorders.
