Uniformed military doctors and nurses are setting up mobile vaccine clinics throughout the state. The clinic at the airport is located in the baggage area of Terminal A and is available to anyone who wants to receive it. "This is a service we are offering travelers and our community is to ensure they are safe and to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 and most importantly, we want to make sure everyone is aware that the vaccine is available at the airport. It's free and very accessible." said Jesus H. Saenz, Jr., IAP, Director of Airports, San Antonio Airport System. "Greater. Safer. Together, we want to do our part to protect our customers and the community." In an effort to reinforce health and safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration, SAT has created new overhead announcements reminding travelers of the importance of wearing masks and that masks are mandatory in the airport. The COVID-19 clinic will be open every day from 9am to 6pm until September 12. For more information, visit www.FlySanAntonio.com This press release was produced by the City of San Antonio.
