WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — A Paramus man has died in a motorcycle accident early Friday morning in Westchester County, New York, according to multiple reports.
The Associated Press and NJ.com report that the New York State Police are investigating the crash which left one person, Frank Mahouti, 29, of Paramus, dead.
According to the publications, state police received reports of motorcycles racing on Interstate 87 in Yonkers early Friday morning. Soon after, there were reports that one of the motorcycles had crashed.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Mahouti was operating a Ducati motorcycle at a "high rate of speed" around 1 a.m. Mahouti was unable to make a curve, and struck a guardrail, which ejected him from the motorcycle, the AP reports.
