* We are partnering with Gladding to offer long term opportunities with great benefits once hired on! * Location: Lincoln, CA Compensation: $16.00-$18.00 DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 5AM-1:30PM * NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - WILLING TO TRAIN * POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Models and Molds Lead, this position performs the hand pressing of the clay into molds and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the core values of integrity, safety, respect, customer focus, quality, innovation and financial success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Hand presses clay into mold and turns mold over after hand pressing is completed. • Verifies that clay has proper consistency and thickness and assures that there are no air pockets in the mold. • Smoothens out the finish and ensures that it dries properly • Lifts, carries and places pieces on rack so that pieces can be sent to dryers • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and correct. • Regular attendance is required. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Requires an individual to be able to hand work clay with precise detail when pressing molds. • Ability to use hand tools, including but not limited to hand trowels, knives and sticks. • Regular attendance is required.
