WHEATON, IL — A 76-year-old Wheaton man who was reported missing Tuesday morning was found safe later that afternoon, according to an update from the city. Original article: Wheaton police are asking the public for help finding a 76-year-old man with dementia who was reported missing Tuesday. Indra Darlami was last seen traveling on foot in the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Road around 9:12 a.m. Tuesday. Police say he likes to take long walks and has previously gotten lost while on a walk. Darlami, who only speaks Nepalese, was last seen wearing a red and black checkered shirt and gray pajama pants. He was wearing a hat and carrying a black backpack. Anyone who has seen Darlami or has information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
