Men Still At Large After Searches By Dog, Drone, Plane In Oswego

OSWEGO, IL — Police have conducted perimeter, canine and drone searches and have used a fixed wing plane by Illinois State Police to search for four people who ran away after Aurora police responded to a report of shots fired. Aurora police said the incident began as the report of shots fired in the 200 block of Hill Avenue, and that the individuals may be armed. Police are searching for them in the 300 block of East Washington in Oswego after an incident began in Aurora. The APD is requesting that people avoid the area of Ogden Falls Park while the investigation continues, the department said on Facebook. The APD provided descriptions of three of the people, all of whom are described to be in their 20s: Black male with black dreadlocks, white T-shirt, grey sweatpants, red shoes.Black male with black dreadlocks, navy sports jersey, black pants/white stripe, dark shoes.Black male with short hair, white t-shirt, jean shorts, white shoes, may have black cap. Police are currently following up on leads and ask anyone with home video surveillance or information to call Aurora Illinois Police Department at 630-256-5500. Oswego Police are advising of a high presence of police in the Ogden Falls neighborhood. (south of Rt 34 & Rt 30) Officers are assisting APD in looking for 4 individuals who ran from them & may be armed.
