NOVATO, CA — A Novato high school will have two new administrators this year. The Novato Union School District announced the hiring of Shawna Hettrich and Katie Waller as assistant principals at San Marin High School. Hettrich, who grew up in Novato and previously taught at San Jose Middle School, returns to NUSD after a three-year stint at Sonoma Valley High School. Waller joined the district over the summer after serving as a counselor at Herbert Hoover Middle School in San Francisco for eight years.
