Hi, my name is Karen, and I was born & raised in Frankfort. My parents have lived here since 1978 and love their community. A lot of people in the area know my dad (Bob Smukula) because he would repair cars, lawn mowers, etc for friends, family.... About 2 months ago he suddenly and unexpectedly became extremely ill. He's been in the hospital for 57 days, most of that time spent in the ICU. He is a loving, selfless man who always helps anyone he can - Family, neighbors, friends even strangers and now we would really like to help him with some of the astronomical medical bills. We would like to do a traditional fundraiser, however given COVID is rising we decided to go with GoFundMe.
