Press release from the Wright County Government: August 17, 2021 The final Hiking Wright event of the 2021 season will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 at Carl Johnson County Park in Cokato. The free event is part of a series of hike explorations that give participants an opportunity to get a longer look at the natural beauty that is contained in the Wright County Parks and Recreation system. The events run from April through August and this year the Hiking Wright program also included previous hikes in Bertram Chain of Lakes Park, Robert Ney Memorial Park, Harry Larson Regional Park and Clearwater/Pleasant Regional Park. All the hikes are between one and three miles long. All Hiking Wright programs are open to all ages and families are encouraged to come as a group.
