Press release from the City of Elmhurst: August 16, 2021 Reminder of City of Elmhurst Storm Debris Policy   Residents are reminded that debris from the recent storm should be discarded through the normal waste collection program. The City's contracted refuse company, Republic Services, will accept 2 bundles of brush at no additional cost. Branches from trees on private property must be cut and bundled into a maximum of 2 piles. Bundles must be cut no longer than 4 feet and each bundle must weigh less than 50 pounds. No single limb may be greater than four inches in diameter. Residents with brush refuse needs that exceed these specifications will need to call a tree disposal service.
