Local businesses impacted by COVID-19 can qualify for up to $70,000. The Program represents an additional way in which the City seeks to assist those small businesses affected by COVID-19 that are so much a part of our community.  Funded by the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the Program will provide financial assistance in the form of forgivable loans to eligible Dixon for-profit businesses significantly impacted by the pandemic. The Program goal is the retention of existing jobs.   Eligible businesses must meet the following criteria:  Eligible employers will be able to apply for up to $10,000 for each job that they retain, up to a maximum of seven jobs. If the employee is retained at the same or higher rate of pay for a minimum of 120 days, the loan will be forgiven. Loans will be approved contingent upon the City receiving committed funds from the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
