Press release from the Dayton Metro Library: Erin Abney August 12, 2021 register tours online form Undesign the Redline DML Offering Undesign the Redline Touring Options The Dayton Metro Library is offering a variety of touring options to the public as it hosts the Undesign the Redline exhibit, on display at the Main Library, 215 E. Third Street, until September 25. This exhibit is free and open to the public, and self-guided tours are available. However, individuals who want a more in-depth experience may register for a free, docent-guided tour. These tours are offered on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm and Saturdays at 10:30 am and last approximately one hour, with time for Q&A. Tour size is limited; advanced registration is required. Educators may find that taking a field trip to see the exhibit could be especially valuable for high school students taking American History, Civics, Government, Social Studies, and Civil Rights classes. To schedule a field trip, complete the online form on our website. Funding may be available to assist with transportation. This powerful exhibit can be a catalyst for discussion and change, and holding a meeting at the Library could provide a framework for learning and transformation. Per person priced packages that include a variety of amenities are available to choose from. In addition to the touring packages, the Library will also host online discussions and other programs related to Undesign the Redline.
