SAN RAMON VALLEY, CA — As San Ramon Valley Unified School District students headed back to school, the district reports a total of 33 cases confirmed in the past two weeks among students and staff. Here's the latest 14-day count by school, according to the district's COVID-19 dashboard. San Ramon Valley High: 9 casesCalifornia High School: 4 casesQuail Run Elementary: 4 casesMonte Vista High: 3 casesVista Grande Elementary: 3 casesLos Cerros Middle: 2 casesMontevideo Elementary: 2 casesRancho Romero Elementary: 2 casesBollinger Canyon Elementary: 1 caseDiablo Vista Middle: 1 caseGreen Valley Elementary: 1 caseTwin Creeks Elementary: 1 case District officials do not believe these cases were transmitted at school, SRVUSD spokesperson Denise Jennison said in an email. The district is following requirements from health agencies and its COVID-19 protocols are available on its website, she said. Plans are being finalized for a COVID-19 testing strategy.
