Looking for a volleyball coach for our Freshman Volleyball Team.
Title: Freshman Head Coach
Department: Athletics
Reports to: Head Coach and Athletic Director
Position Responsibilities:
Plan and execute practices to teach athletes skills and strategies of the sport.
Plan and execute game strategies.
Attend all practices and competitions.
Be aware of and up to date on sport rules.
Help supervise athletes during practices, games, and other team events. Including supervising until all athletes have been picked up from the event.
Abide by and promote sound ethics according to the mission and philosophy of Oakcrest School.
Handle any issues that arise during the sport season. If necessary, discuss with the athletic director any issues or concerns.
Help determine end-of-season awards.
Attend the end-of-season awards night.
Requirements:
First Aid and CPR Certification
Clean background check as required by law.
Playing experience at the club or collegiate level.
Understanding of the rules and basic skills of the sport.
