PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are asking for the public's help identifying a man in connection with an attack that left a 23-year-old man with a serious brain injury and caused him to drop the baby he was holding.
Police are looking for a 6-foot-2, 220-pound Black man between 20 to 30 years old who was wearing a hat, red bandana, camouflage shirt and shorts.
Police are also looking for a white Ford SUV.
The victim, who was not identified, was involved in a collision the afternoon of Aug. 3 in the 700 block of East Indian School Road, police said. The victim was exchanging information with the other driver when a third man walked up and punched him several times, Phoenix police said in a news release.
The third man knocked the victim unconscious, causing him to drop the baby he was holding, police said. The baby suffered minor injuries.
The third man also punched the victim's pregnant wife, police said.
Anyone with information about the case was asked to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 or leave an anonymous tip on the Silent Witness website.
