Citizen in the city of Cartersville. Many in Bartow (including Cartersville) came together to address solutions to the over population of cats in the community. TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) was presented as a first step that has proven positive results in decreasing these numbers. Most cats that are trapped are returned to their location. Socialized cats are sometimes adopted out. Importantly they will no longer reproduce and they are vaccinated.
IMPORTANT: Friday, August 13, I was informed that the city of Cartersville was not included in the TNR ordinance even though it was signed by Steve Taylor in Cartersville with many advocates present from Cartersville. This is alarming because many have been decieved and have and continue to TNR.
