it's time. anyone with a drum and at least one arm (or one lung:) i'm paul revere, with a friendly invitation to come to dewitt park for a big ole jam. "are guitarists, keyboard players, and wind instruments welcome????" well, i'm not in a position to "ban" anyone. all i'm saying is that i mainly play bass, and i know how to organize this thing so it'll work...and how it wouldn't. every group needs a leader, so i'm appointing myself, but that is NOT to say that you all shouldn't be able to do whatever you feel, if it's in tune and in tempo. beyond that, if there are any actors out there who want to practice or perform a scene to musical accompaniment, react to certain changes and cues--bring it. dancers? of course chinese acrobat troupes? we'll work it in. got some art you want to display? i wouldn't stop ya even if i could. got some Liberal cause you gotta protest: this is your gig. got some chess you need to get off your chest? if you don't come, you'll regret it forever. so email me and we'll arrive at the right time for everyone--or die trying.
