The job you are applying for here at Mark Schroeder & Co., Inc., is a full-time job, M-F, 6:30am-3:00pm. We are looking for new employees that will be at work, on-time, every day, because your crew will depend on you. Successful candidate should demonstrate: *ability to communicate in Spanish and English *ability to communicate with customers *manage and motivate assigned crew *diligence and reliability in work *work safely and train others in safe practices *follow complex instructions *read material lists, guidelines, and timelines *understanding of maintenance concepts, practices and procedures related to the irrigation, water management, *lighting and plant identification *accurate record keeping *possess valid CDL *Experience in large plant pallet, irrigation systems, and controllers. Knowledge, skill and safe use of hand tools, maintenance equipment, pest management and identification. Duties will include working with our crews to ensure jobs constantly look good. Specifically, candidates should be able to exhibit knowledge and abilities in the following: 1) Maintenance of drainage and irrigation systems, water features and low voltage lighting, and planting operations. 2) Pest management, knowledge to identify and control pests. 3) Coordination of job logistics, accurate time tracking, and the ability to produce quality work. 4) Effective communication with coworkers. 5) Ability to teach and motivate crew.
