Popular San Diego catering company is looking to hire a cook to join our staff. The events we do include weddings, corporate events, house parties and sporting events. We also do events in which we sell food at festivals.
We are really busy, with many events per week, and looking for a cook to work private catering and public events. The cook position entails prepping for events, packing ingredients, loading catering trucks, going with the truck to events, cooking, serving guests, organization and clean up.
With so many events per week, we have flexibility in terms of when you can work. Immediate opportunity for part time and or full time work for the right candidate. At events, you will be working in front of people, so it is important to have have great customer service skills, a clean appearance and be personable. The pay is competitive based on experience and most events include gratuity.
Ability and desire to work nights and weekends, Saturday and Sunday are an important days for catering and events.
Requirements include, experience cooking, drivers license, transportation, clean driving record and fluent English.
