The Safety Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support and functional oversite to the Safety Department. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality while administering safety programs including maintaining information systems and reporting tools. This role will interact with various levels within the organization including management, employees, external applicants and vendors.
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a safety or workers compensation role, or an undergraduate degree in related field;
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
Outstanding planning, organizational, and time management skills;
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality;
Exhibit a professional demeanor in person and on the phone;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a willingness to adapt to change;
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; and
Ability to work well with internal and external customer’s at all levels of the company.
