We are looking to immediately hire a Commercial Building Maintenance Manager For starters: -This is a full time position (M-F)and will require you to be on call occasionally (not often) -MUST HAVE A TRUCK, a Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance; (position requires you to own a TRUCK to fulfill all of job’s functions-you will occasionally be running to Lowes, Home Depot, etc. for materials) -Must live within 20-25 Minutes from the building location in Fitchburg to be able to get to calls that need immediate assistance General Description: You will be in charge of this building, taking pride in it's appearance as if it was your own. All general maintenance and repairs, collecting and keeping track of rent. Keeping track of tenant's leases, building maintenance records (elevator etc.) Details: *Education* No specific level of education is required Ability to read and write English for safety and productivity reasons Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions (measurements, etc.) ***MUST have experience in a management/maintenance position, other building maintenance or related field. **Occasionally (rarely) Be On-call, after-hour emergency service may be required with an efficient response time. **Must be able to multi-task *Physical Requirements* -Hand-on repairs and maintenance constitute 60 to 70 percent of duties; remaining time spent on general management functions -Perform general maintenance repair tasks ***Use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to: -Tools (hand&power) Ladders, Landscaping equipment (Snow Blower, etc) Skills: -Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information -Great written and verbal communication skills -Well organized, detail oriented, efficient -Ability to prioritize and multi-task -Must be able to work independently -Strong problem solving skills -Ability to meet deadlines which may occasionally include a few weekend hours **as needed** -Ability to follow oral and written instructions - Basic computer and Internet knowledge - Ability to keep track of rent and do research to solve issues Special skills include ability to diagnose problems with and repair the following: -Appliances/Tools/Equipment -HVAC -Basic plumbing, sheetrock, general carpentry -Basic electrical -Painting -Maintenance and repairs -Minor Landscaping -Ice/snow removal -Changing Locks PLEASE RESPOND WITH EITHER A RESUME OR YOUR EXPERIENCE.
