If you guys are going to continue to pollute this site with your pro Trump whining, at least try to get your facts straight . On Nov. 21 2020,Pompeo met with Taliban, and under Trump's direction, Pompeo made a pact with the Taliban concerning the withdrawal of American troops. A major part of the pact was the mechanics of troop withdrawal, and it was agreed that if the security forces didn't resist the Taliban's takeover, then the Taliban would not punish (execute) the security forces. It remains to be seen if the Taliban keep their end of the bargain, but so far, the Security forces have offered only token resistance. In short, Trump engineered the withdrawal, and now can stand back and act innocent and blame Biden for what is happening. And although we entered there to get at Osama Bin Laden, it wasn't Biden who made the decision to stay there and get us into another No Win situation like Vietnam.
