Palladium Real Estate Services is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team at the brand new Trek in Auburn! The successful candidate will possess general janitorial skills, light landscaping knowledge, enjoy working outdoors, safety conscious, steady and dependable. This candidate must also be able to anticipate needs, react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response, highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative. Candidate should have a professional appearance and demeanor. Job Requirements: • Work Shift hours are 8-5 pm daily. Weekends required. • Responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the property (grounds, internal, exterior). • Alerting the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Technician of any safety hazards on property. • Promote good public relations with residents, co-workers, and company employees, vendors and goodwill to the public through a people first approach and trust representing the brand and company. • Perform building and common area upkeep on a daily basis in accordance with company standards. Responsible for keeping grounds neat and free of litter. • Assist Maintenance technician(s) and supervisors complete service requests as needed, if applicable. • Complete special projects as may be assigned and prioritized • Assist in maintaining shop organization and appearance to standards to facilitate quick assessment of supply inventory. • Assist in maintaining and keeping trash rooms and trash areas clean. • Perform, and report on, all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA and health codes. Perform work area clean-up on a weekly basis. • Adhere to Fair Housing requirements and on-going training. • Adhere to Company Uniform Policy and Dress Code Program through the Apparel Program designated for Associates. Other Requirements: • Physical: Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition. Ability to lift 100 lbs. necessary for moving and operating equipment. • Ability to operate all necessary hand tools to make repairs. Ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repairs. • Ability to drive to and from job sites. • Tolerance to all extremes of hot and cold weather, as may be necessary. • Tools: Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following: • Hand tools: Various wrenches, screwdrivers, grips, sledgehammer, hammer, snips, post hole diggers, saws, etc. • Power Tools: Wrenches, grinder, sander, drill, saws, etc. • User-Moved Aids: Wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, hoists, jacks, stepladders, full ladders, double ladders. • Mechanical Equipment: Motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, electric and hand- powered augers, etc. • Transportation: (If applicable) Must have dependable vehicle. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 1 year of experience as groundskeeper, landscaper, and/or janitor preferred. • Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment especially in emergency situations and maintain confidentiality. • Is receptive to feedback, a fast-learner, self-motivated and proactive communicator. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a diverse group of staff. • Exhibits integrity, positivity, professionalism and composure at all times in all situations Join our team today!
