The Mundy Companies, a leader in the engineering, maintenance, services and industrial fields, is currently hiring for the following long term position for our facility in Corpus Christi, Texas: GROUNDS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Qualified applicants will possess the ability to assist in maintaining the daily upkeep of the grounds of a commercial site; maintain the sites’ appearance by picking up litter on grounds and notifying management of exterior repairs needed; use various lawn equipment, including mowers, tractors, gas weed eaters and hand tools. The position also requires the ability to clean exterior entryways by sweeping or blowing them out; assisting with the routine and preventative maintenance; shoveling snow from walkways and treat walkways to prevent falling; performing any other duties that fall into grounds maintenance job description determined by management. The experience and ability to work with livestock is a plus. Additional duties as required. This position requires the ability to be aware and perform job functions within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards as well as company safety policies at all times; must be able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions and temperatures, with a team or independently. Qualified applicants must be able to lift at least 40 pounds. The Grounds Maintenance Technician position must be available to work overtime in emergency situations, during inclement weather, and weekends as required. Successful applicants must have the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test, and other examinations as required.
