Job Summary Apartment Restorers is seeking a full-time Fire Water Mold (Restoration) Technician to contribute to our expansion in our FAST-PACED environment in the DMV area. Apartment Restorers, LLC., established in 2010, is a turn key disaster restoration company focusing on multifamily communities. When apartments are affected by fire, mold or water, we mobilize our crews to mitigate the loss so the apartment can be livable again as soon as possible. Our mission is to provide great service for our clients. Employment with Apartment Restorers, LLC. requires employees to be available to work on call (after hours 5pm - 8am) for 1 week every 4-6 weeks (rotation basis), or as needed. We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Flexibility to work long hours, evening, holidays and weekends is required. Fire Water Mold (Restoration) Technician job duties include but not limited to - Remove damaged materials from affected area(s) - Repair damaged drywall/other surfaces ( e.g. insulation install; baseboard install) - Prepare painting surfaces - Paint application - Operate water extraction/moisture removal equipment - Participate in a rotating on call schedule 1 week every 4-6 weeks Job requirements - Experience in water extraction/fire cleanup preferred - Experience in drywall repair/paint application preferred - Carpet cleaning/repair experience preferred - General handyman experience - Valid US Driver’s License and a clean driving record - Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check - Work authorization is US - Detail oriented with outstanding organization skills - Excellent communication skills Benefits ✓ Weekly pay with direct deposit ✓ Overtime available ✓ $75 bonus for each emergency job performed after regular business hours ✓ Care First medical coverage, STD/Life insurance ✓ Paid time off ✓ Tools provided
