Penn Apartment Staffing is now seeking groundskeeper/porters, make ready techs, and HVAC certified maintenance technicians for apartment communities around the DFW area. Penn Apartment Staffing specializes in recruiting and placing highly skilled candidates in all positions within the multi-family apartment industry. Porter Duties: The porter/groundskeeper is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, landscape, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings. This includes the removal of trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. Porters will also assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. Make-Ready Duties: The make-ready tech is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for move-in and ensuring the units are thoroughly restored to "market ready" status in a timely manner. Responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, performing ad hoc painting, electrical, and carpentry duties. Prior make-ready experience in the apartment industry is REQUIRED. Maintenance Tech Duties: An apartment maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of apartment units and the leasing office. This includes completing work orders for a variety of things in a timely manner including plumbing issues, HVAC/heating issues, appliance issues, and carpentry, flooring, and electrical system issues. Prior apartment maintenance experience required.
