Handyman Maintenance Tech Full / Part-time or Contract Base Job Description Make Ready Apartment, Technician / Punch Technician / Handyman We are a Property Management Company and are seeking experienced and inexperienced individuals for Make Ready/Punch Technician positions: Positions available: • Full Time • Part Time • Contract Base, Per Job We use a Property Management Software where Owners, Management, Tenants, and Technicians can communicate. Management and Tenants can create a maintenance request for a property or apartment. Once you are in our system as an employee or contractor, you will see that task request in detail in the app and you will be able to pick-up that ticket for a Job. Start update and complete Job Tickets all done through the app. As an Apartment Make-Ready/Punch Technician you will convert recently vacant apartments into apartments ready for occupancy. General Job Duties: • General construction and maintenance knowledge very helpful • Clean/restore recently vacated apartments • Help maintain cleanliness of the facility and grounds • Change bulbs, locks/keys • Change furnace filters • Must be able to install appliances and fixtures • Exterior/ interior painting and caulking • Trim install and light drywall repair • Ability to manage projects • Knowledge of mechanical systems and/or ability to work on a HUGE PLUS ( Job Requirements: • Be able to use a phone app to monitor Job tickets. • Experience preferred but not required: property management/hotel/construction/apartment • Have basic hand tools (as an employee we provide most if not all major tools) • Attention to detail, good time management • Organize projects order supplies • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability • Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to tenants • MUST HAVE dependable and reliable transportation preferred Truck, SUV, or similar, to drive from our office to different apartment building locations all in the Down River Area, as well as pick-up and transport supplies/material.
