Hey there fellow pickers ! I am an experienced banjo player who loves to play bluegrass and old time (clawhammer) banjo. I am looking to find some folks who are experienced in similar musical worlds to make some connections with. I am very serious about my music and would love to find other musicians who feel the same and potentially share the urge to write music/play shows - with that being said I am feeling seriously deprived of musical connections since COVID and would welcome any and all chances to play with people whose experience and musical interests line up with my own. As far as what material I like to play, I’m pretty rooted in traditional bluegrass (hear flatt+Scruggs, bill Monroe, doc Watson) but love a lot of the new grass (new grass revival, jd crowe and the new south, special consensus) and jammy stuff as well (greensky, stringdusters, billy strings) - I also really enjoy playing clawhammer style and have been doing a deep dive into Old time music. I enjoy singing and would love to work some vocal harmonies in to the mix, but am definitely pretty instrumental focused (loves playing fiddle tunes ). I look forward to making new music friends in this town and hopefully getting a chance to share this music with people in the near future!
