Epcor Foundries, a division of Seilkop Industries in the Greater Cincinnati Area, is in immediate need of a 2nd Shift Furnace Tender/Pour-Off Operator -- Training Provided!
Epcor specializes in aluminum green sand castings, prototype, and automotive castings.
DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
1. Show up every day on time for scheduled work shift.
2. Load furnace to accommodate production.
3. Monitor and keep the Hydrogen Gas within the process parameters via proper checks.
4. Monitor and keep the furnace temperature within the process parameters.
5. Leave furnaces full and within range for the next production shift.
6. Clean Furnace when scheduled.
7. Pour Sand Molds.
8. Maintain ladles and skimmers.
6. Work in accordance with all company polices and procedures.
7. Work safely with regards self and co-workers.
8. Maintain a clean work area.
9. Use Customer Process Sheets properly.
10. Undertake any reasonable request made by peers or supervision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A large percentage of work time is spent in a factory environment where temperatures vary and noise levels are moderate to high.
HOURS OF WORK:
• 2nd Shift hours: 12-hour days (Monday – Friday), starting at 3:30PM.
(There is a 25¢ per hour increase for 2nd shift.)
CONSISTENT OVERTIME!!

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
