$2,000 Sign On BonusSchneider is seeking a Diesel Technician I to perform preventative maintenance, component replacements and troubleshoot on Schneider's fleet of trailers and trucks. In this role, you will complete routine work such as tire changing, minor electrical repairs and minor accident repairs. You will also have some non-technical tasks such as cleaning duties, routine parts stocking, inventory counting and local parts pick-ups. You will have the opportunity to use your on the job training to further advance and drive your career within Schneider!Successful candidates will haveHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience or Associate degree preferred-Diesel Technology, Automotive, Electrical, and WeldingStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsEffective written and verbal communication along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailSkills with windows based computer systems preferredAbility to provide own tools within 30 days of hire (Shop leader will cover required tools) and apply now!
