We are hiring for help in our booth at Planet Comicon Kansas City at the Kansas City Convention Center 8/18-8/22. We are looking for energetic people that might enjoy some time at a comic convention. You would be helping with assisting customers while the show is open through Sunday, and then assisting with tear down after the show closes. We pay $85 cash for Saturday. For Sunday we pay $100, plus an extra $25 for assisting with tear down after the show ends. (Sunday has longer hours, as we have to take the booth down and load out) You will be paid in full on Sunday at the end of shift. Who we are looking for: - Friendly, energetic people who are good with STANDING ALL DAY - People able to bend and lift boxes up to and around 25 pounds - People comfortable with talking to other people (you will be helping sell product) - Must be able to get back and forth to Convention Center - Must be available to work all days - Must be willing to adhere to indoor masking guidelines set by the city and convention center Dates and Hours: (Subject to change based on hall hours and staffing needs) Set Up: Wednesday, 8/18 12pm -- 6pm Thursday, 8/19 8am – 6pm Friday, 8/20 9am – 11am Show Hours: Friday, 8/20 11am – 8pm Saturday, 8/21 9am - 7pm Sunday, 8/22 10am – ???(tear down starts directly after show close) LOCATION: Kansas City Convention Center 301 W 13th St Ste 100, Kansas City, MO 64105 Please reply with the following to be considered: - Preferred name - Phone number - Any relevant work experience - Your availability One of our staff members will be reaching out to you using this information.
