Looking for a quality individual to join Riverhawk Industrial Supply, a well-established tool and supply distribution company as a warehouse associate (receiving and order puller). The open position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm and is located in Mulberry.
The job focus is:
-Receiving deliveries (unloading, counting, and restocking inventory)
-Loading delivery vehicles
-Operating a forklift and pallet jack
-Possibly occasionally driving a box truck or cargo van to make deliveries to customers
-Performing warehouse lock-down and trash removal procedures
Receiving, pulling orders, packing orders, and restocking must be performed with speed and accuracy. The job is physically demanding.
Physical requirements include:
-The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds
-The ability to safely move 3,000 pound pallets with a manual pallet jack
-The ability to lift and carry 60 pound boxes
In addition to exceptional attention to detail and dependability, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well with others and a positive attitude. The candidate must be a self-starter and extremely organized.
Pay includes an hourly wage plus paid holidays, paid time off beginning at 6 months of tenure, and benefits. Minimum education is a high school diploma. Some warehouse experience, including forklift operation, would be considered a plus. Physical aspects of the job include heavy lifting, climbing ladders, pushing and pulling heavy warehouse carts.
